Volunteer
Advocate volunteers provide in-person crisis intervention, information, and referrals to victims of sexual assault and their family members, significant others and friends. These services are provided at local hospitals, police stations, court, etc.
Advocates also provide crisis intervention, information, and referrals to folks on our 24/7 crisis hotline. Advocate volunteers must be at least 21 years of age, demonstrate maturity, and possess a valid California driver’s license, adequate transportation and automobile insurance coverage.
Help engage and educate the community on topics related to sexual violence with an emphasis of concern and care on our under resourced population. As a volunteer with the Community Education department, you will help end rape culture and prevent sexual violence through a survivor focused and trauma informed lens.
