NORA (Nurture, Outreach, Resilience, and Advocacy), formerly the Riverside Area Rape Crisis Center, proudly recognizes the Morongo Band of Mission Indians for their continued partnership and support in advancing NORA’s mission to build safe and resilient communities.
Through a $5,000 award in support of NORA’s Building Safe Communities Initiative, the Morongo Band of Mission Indians has helped expand outreach, mental health support, and survivor-centered services across Riverside County. Their generosity has provided critical resources for children, families, and individuals impacted by sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse.
On May 14, 2025, NORA was honored to receive Certificates of Appreciation for extraordinary service throughout the Inland Empire. This recognition reflects the strength of collaboration between NORA and Morongo, whose shared commitment ensures survivors and families receive compassionate, trauma-informed care.
"The Morongo Band of Mission Indians has been an extraordinary partner in this work," said Adriane Lamar Snider, CEO of NORA. "Their generosity and leadership have made it possible for us to meet survivors with dignity, restore hope, and build pathways toward healing."
NORA continues to celebrate Morongo’s role as a valued supporter and looks forward to building on this partnership to strengthen community safety and resilience.
