NORA is thrilled to announce that Adriane Lamar Snider, Chief Executive Officer of NORA, has been awarded an official Women’s History Month Proclamation by the City of Riverside, recognizing the vital roles, leadership, and influence of women within our community.
This proclamation honors Adriane’s steadfast commitment to survivor-centered advocacy, equity, and systems-level change, as well as her leadership in strengthening trauma-informed services and prevention efforts throughout Riverside County.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Patricia Lock Dawson, Mayor of Riverside, for this meaningful recognition and for her continued support of women-led organizations and initiatives focused on survivor empowerment and community well-being.
A Message from NORA's CEO
“Women’s History Month reminds us that progress is never accidental. It is built — deliberately, collectively, and with courage. And when women lead the change in the pursuit of justice, entire communities are transformed.
On behalf of NORA, I accept this proclamation with gratitude — and with commitment.
Let this not simply mark a moment of recognition, but a continued commitment to action. Because when a city decides that the safety of women is non-negotiable, transformation follows.”
— Adriane Lamar Snider, Chief Executive Officer
